This model has two pieces, which gravity feeds the water through the ceramic water filters, in the upper chamber, into the lower chamber.  With an easy to turn on/off spigot as the outflow tap.  The “Super Sterasyl” filters reduce up to 99.99% of particulates, cysts, parasites and pathogenic bacteria including but not limited to E.Coli, Cryptosporidium, Giaradia, Salmonella and Typhoid.  Additionally, British Berkefeld^® filters will reduce chlorine, rust, sediment and organic chemicals. The Imperial Berkey^® is constructed of highly polished 304 stainless steel, the system comes complete with 6 ceramic filtration elements. This system has a storage capacity of about 4.5 gallons and when in use it stands 25.75” in height with a diameter of 10”.  The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 17” in height and has a flow rate of 120 gal/day.
